1. Nature of Services
Bloom Mobile Ultrasound provides both diagnostic and non-diagnostic (elective) ultrasound services, depending on the service booked.

Diagnostic ultrasounds (such as anatomy scans, growth scans, or biophysical profiles when applicable) are performed by qualified ultrasound professionals and interpreted by a licensed radiologist.

Elective ultrasounds are non-diagnostic and are provided for bonding, reassurance, or keepsake purposes only.
Ultrasound results may be limited by fetal position, gestational age, maternal anatomy, or other technical factors. No guarantees are made regarding image quality, visibility of specific structures, or confirmation of specific findings (including fetal sex).
Bloom Mobile Ultrasound does not replace ongoing prenatal care with your primary healthcare provider.
2. Diagnostic Results & Follow-Up
For diagnostic scans:

A radiology report will be generated and may be shared with your designated healthcare provider upon request or as required.

Bloom does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or management plans.

Any abnormal or concerning findings should be discussed directly with your provider.
For elective scans:

No medical interpretation or diagnostic conclusions are provided.
3. Client Responsibility
By booking an appointment, you confirm that:

You are pregnant or are the authorized parent/guardian.
-
You are under the care of a licensed provider (OB, midwife, or CPM), or understand that Bloom does not replace prenatal care.

You have provided accurate and complete information regarding gestational age, pregnancy history, and relevant medical details.
4. Not an Emergency Service
Bloom Mobile Ultrasound is not an emergency or urgent care service.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as:

Vaginal bleeding
-
Severe abdominal pain
-
Fever or signs of infection
-
Leaking fluid
-
Decreased fetal movement
Please contact your healthcare provider or seek emergency medical care immediately.
5. Appointment Locations & Travel
Bloom Mobile Ultrasound offers:

Mobile ultrasounds at client homes or provider offices
-
In-office appointments at select locations
Clients are responsible for providing:
-
An accurate address
-
A safe, clean, and accessible space for mobile services
Travel fees may apply based on distance and will be disclosed at booking or prior to the appointment.
Fees may apply for appointments beginning at 5pm or later or Saturdays and Sundays.
6. Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise arranged.

Bloom Mobile Ultrasound does not bill insurance unless explicitly stated for specific diagnostic services.
-
Accepted payment methods will be outlined during the booking process.
Failure to submit payment may result in cancellation of services.
7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that pregnancy and birth are unpredictable. At the same time, we reserve appointment time specifically for you.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours and rescheduling must be made at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

More than 24 hours’ notice:
-No charge. You may cancel or reschedule without penalty. -
Less than 24 hours’ notice:
-A cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost will be charged. -
Same-day cancellations or no-shows:
-The full service fee will be charged.
Exceptions
Cancellation fees may be waived at Bloom’s discretion in cases of:

Active labor
-
Medical emergencies
-
Hospital admission
Please notify us as soon as possible if an emergency occurs.
8. Late Arrivals

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened or canceled, depending on provider availability.

Full service fees may still apply.
9. Images, Reports & Media
-
Ultrasound images and video clips may be provided for personal use when available.
-
Diagnostic ultrasound reports are generated by a licensed radiologist and may be shared with your healthcare provider.
-
Bloom does not guarantee confirmation of fetal sex, specific measurements, or complete visualization of all anatomy.
-
3D images are subject to a variety of factors and cannot be guaranteed during any scans.
Images are for personal use only and may not be sold or used commercially without written permission.
10. Consent
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and consent that:

Ultrasound has known limitations
-
Diagnostic findings require follow-up with your healthcare provider

Bloom Mobile Ultrasound is not responsible for outcomes beyond the scope of imaging and reporting
11. Changes to Terms
Bloom Mobile Ultrasound reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply to your appointment.
