  • Your anatomy scan takes an in-depth look at both your baby’s development and your pregnancy’s overall health. During your scan, we assess:

    • Estimated Due Date (EDD)

    • Placenta location (including relation to any prior C-section scar)

    • Fetal heart rate

    • Baby’s estimated weight and growth percentile

    • Key measurements: BPD, HC, AC, FL, AFI, CL, and cervix–placenta relationship

Your baby’s full anatomy will be evaluated — including the brain, face, heart, spine, limbs, major organs, and position.
We’ll also look at your placenta, umbilical cord, and amniotic fluid levels.

This scan is performed transabdominally (over your belly). A transvaginal scan may be done if a closer look at cervical length is needed.

The anatomy scan is ideally performed between 19–23 weeks, though it can be done later (views may be limited as baby grows).

If you’re expecting twins or more, please let us know so we can allow extra time. There is an additional $75 charge per baby for imaging each gestation.

Diagnostic images can be shared with your provider upon request, and you’ll receive printed and texted images of your baby if they’re in a favorable position that day.

  • Appointments are refundable up to 24 hours in advance and may be rescheduled up to 12 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made within 12 hours or no-shows will be charged a 50% fee. Please be ready at your scheduled time — a 15-minute grace period applies. If we’re coming to your home or another location, ensure a clear space for the ultrasound and share any parking details with your sonographer in advance. PLEASE NOTE: Appointment times are subject to minor adjustments to best align with our travel schedule in your area. Diagnostic scans are medical in nature, while 2D/3D keepsake ultrasounds are for bonding and enjoyment only.
